I’m Laura Lapointe. I help people and organizations solve problems and get unstuck through practical spirituality.
I love big, crazy ideas that move people forward when things are messy and seem hopeless. Through spoken and written word, creative problem-solving, and sometimes poignant humor, I connect people with their inherent potential for lives of joy and freedom. I’m eager to support you and your team, company or congregation in finding solutions to situations that look befuddling or even impossible.
I work with individuals and corporate communities to integrate unity, productivity, and health into people's everyday experience. I’ve spoken to audiences in churches and prisons, taught literacy skills to third graders and inmates, published and edited more articles on spirituality than I can count, provided intensive support to people seeking physical and mental healing, aided in resolving disputes in court, designed events to bridge the gap between organized religion and the growing spiritual but not religious community, sung on the stage of Symphony Hall in Boston, and written, produced and performed in two one woman shows.
My educational background includes a BFA in Acting from New York University, mediation training from the Harvard Mediation Program, a Master of Divinity, elementary teacher certification through a program for urban teachers in Boston, and a post-graduate certificate in Spirituality and Social Work because why not go to school again?
Currently, I’m in the Entrepreneur in Residence program at the NEST in San Diego, learning how to better connect with and serve people like you.
